breakstacks
Recordkeeping for private poker groups
Track home poker games without the spreadsheet
BreakStacks gives hosts one place to record buy-ins, rebuys, virtual-unit balances, results and points for recurring private poker games.
Start with a new club record. Spreadsheet import is not currently available.
Recordkeeping software only. BreakStacks does not run or host poker games, accept wagers, hold or transfer player funds, pay players, redeem units, or receive Unit Deductions. Units are virtual club records, not funds held by BreakStacks. For adults only. You are responsible for ensuring that your use, games, and any activity outside BreakStacks comply with the laws that apply to you.
Starter is USD $10 one-time, with no recurring Starter subscription. Terms and service availability apply. See pricing.
Record each buy-in, rebuy and add-on as it happens. When the game ends, enter the finishing order and Unit Distributions. BreakStacks keeps the game record, virtual-unit balances, ledger and points connected, so the club does not depend on a separate spreadsheet.
Players do not need an account
Share password-gated visitor pages for game details and standings. A club can also choose to enable exact-name virtual-unit balance lookup for casual members. Registered members use their own dashboard records.
Why hosts move beyond spreadsheets
One poker spreadsheet becomes harder to maintain as the club grows.
Rebuys recorded in different places, late-night result entry and repeated balance questions create avoidable admin. BreakStacks brings the corresponding club records together.

The last hand is not the last record
BreakStacks totals the entries recorded for the game. The host enters finishing positions and Unit Distributions, and the corresponding virtual-unit balances and points update together.
Rebuys should not depend on memory
Record each buy-in, rebuy and add-on when it happens. The game record keeps the entered amounts and the running entry total together.
Balance questions need a clear record
Registered members can see their own ledger records. A club can separately enable password-gated, exact-name balance lookup for casual members.
Game details should be easy to find
Each recorded game can show its scheduled time, buy-in amount and other game details on the club's password-gated visitor pages.
Home poker records in one place
The club record from game entry to final results.
BreakStacks connects recorded games, entries, Unit Distributions, virtual-unit balances, ledger entries and season-style points. The host remains responsible for entering and checking the records.

Buy-ins, rebuys and add-ons
Record each game entry in BreakStacks, including custom amounts where the game permits them. The recorded entries produce the game's running unit total.
Results and Unit Distributions
Enter finishing positions and each Unit Distribution. BreakStacks compares the entered distribution total with the recorded entry total before updating the club's unit records.
Connected virtual-unit ledger
Keep added units, game entries, Unit Distributions, unit shares and Unit Deductions in the club ledger, with casual and registered members on the same roster. BreakStacks does not receive Unit Deductions.
Standings and leaderboard
Record season-style points from top finishes. Shared standings show points rather than members' virtual-unit balances.
Password-gated visitor pages
Share game details and standings without requiring every player to create an account. Optional casual-member balance lookup is controlled separately by the club.
Club roster and roles
Owners and admins can manage casual and registered members, invitations and club roles in one roster.
Built for recurring private games
For adult hosts, club admins and their players.
BreakStacks is designed for private groups that want a consistent record of poker buy-ins, rebuys, virtual units, results and points across recurring games. It does not provide poker gameplay or determine whether a game is lawful.

Hosts and club admins
Create the club record, manage the roster, record game entries and results, and maintain the virtual-unit ledger.
Club players
Registered members can view their own records. Password-gated visitor pages can show game details, points and, where the club enables it, an exact-name balance lookup for casual members.
A clearer club record
Less spreadsheet maintenance. More continuity from one game to the next.
Schedule the next game record, keep the roster together, record virtual-unit activity and carry standings across the season—all within the same club workspace.
Frequently asked questions
Home poker game tracking and recordkeeping
What is the best way to track a recurring home poker game?
Use one club record for the roster, scheduled games, buy-ins, rebuys, virtual units, results and points instead of maintaining separate spreadsheets and notes. BreakStacks provides that record; the host enters and checks the information.
How does BreakStacks track poker buy-ins and rebuys?
A club admin records each buy-in, rebuy or add-on against the relevant player and game. BreakStacks keeps those entries together and totals their recorded unit amounts.
Does BreakStacks calculate or pay poker winnings?
No. The host enters finishing positions and Unit Distribution amounts. BreakStacks records those entries and compares their total with the recorded game-entry total. It does not calculate a distribution from the results, pay players, or handle player funds.
Are BreakStacks units real money?
No. Units are virtual records maintained within a club. BreakStacks does not hold or transfer funds, sell or redeem units, or guarantee that a unit record represents value outside the service.
Can players view standings or their virtual-unit balance?
Registered members can view their own records in the dashboard. Password-gated visitor pages can show points-based standings. A club may separately enable exact-name balance lookup for casual members; balances are not shown on the standings leaderboard.
Does BreakStacks host online poker games?
No. BreakStacks does not provide a poker table, deal cards, accept wagers or operate a game. It is recordkeeping software for club information entered by its users.
Can I import my existing poker spreadsheet?
Not currently. Set up a new club record, add the members you need and use BreakStacks for new game and virtual-unit records.
Does using BreakStacks make a private poker game legal?
No. BreakStacks does not provide legal approval or advice. Club operators and users are responsible for checking and complying with the laws that apply to their location and activity.
